Our Return & Exchange Policy

We accept returns and exchanges for most items within 15 days of delivery, provided they are in their original condition with all tags attached and packaging intact. Please note:

  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and free from any signs of use
  • Original tags must still be attached
  • Items must be returned in their original packaging

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene reasons, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Bademode (swimwear)
  • Hausschuhe (slippers)
  • Loungewear & Nachtwäsche (sleepwear and underwear)

These exceptions apply unless the items are faulty or incorrect.

How to Return or Exchange an Item

Step 1: Initiate Your Return/Exchange

To start the process, please send us a return/exchange request within 15 days of receiving your order. You can use the following template:

Step 2: Wait for Approval

Our customer service team will respond within 1-2 business days with:

  • Approval of your return/exchange request
  • A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number
  • Instructions for returning your item(s)

Step 3: Package and Ship Your Return

Once approved:

  1. Securely package the item(s) in their original packaging
  2. Include a copy of your order confirmation or packing slip
  3. Write the RMA number clearly on the outside of the package
  4. Ship to our returns address:

Return Shipping Information

Important: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped or defective product).

We recommend using a trackable shipping service as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.

Refund Process

When Will I Receive My Refund?

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Refunds will be processed within 3-5 business days
  • The refund will be credited to your original payment method
  • Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund (typically 5-10 business days)

Refunds will be issued via the original payment method:

  • Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, JCB)
  • PayPal

Note: Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Exchange Process

How Exchanges Work

If you’re exchanging an item:

  1. Follow the same return process above
  2. Clearly indicate in your email that you want an exchange and specify the replacement item
  3. Once we receive your return, we’ll ship the replacement item
  4. You’ll receive tracking information for your new item

Exchange Shipping

Standard shipping charges apply for exchanged items. If the exchange results in a higher-priced item, you’ll need to pay the difference.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive a defective item or the wrong product:

  • Contact us immediately at [email protected]
  • Include photos of the issue if applicable
  • We’ll arrange for a free return shipping label if needed
  • You’ll receive a full refund or replacement, including original shipping costs

International Returns

For international customers (outside Germany):

  • You are responsible for return shipping costs
  • Mark the package as „RETURNED GOODS“ to avoid customs charges
  • Pier One is not responsible for any customs fees incurred during the return process
  • Refunds will be issued in EUR and may be subject to exchange rate fluctuations
